ABOUT BRAVE WORSHIP
Brave Worship is a worldwide community, but more a family. Founded in 2011 by songwriter Krissy Nordhoff in Franklin, TN, Brave exists to build up the heart of female songwriters, knowing the impact that will make in families, churches, industry, and the kingdom of God. They believe the voices of mothers and daughters are not only valued but needed. You can hear belonging, healing, freedom, and unity when they sing, and many have said they hear angels. From cathedrals in Scotland to the Ryman auditorium, this collective has released the sound of heaven wherever they go.
Brave exists to care for the heart, develop the talent and sharpen the skills of the Christian Songwriter by nurturing relationships, providing educational resources, and championing recordings being released for the world to hear.
ABOUT SONGS FROM THE BARN
This EP, Songs from the Barn, is the debut album from Brave Worship recorded in Thompson’s Station, TN. These 4 songs of worship represent 8 songwriters, 13 band members, and worship leaders, and an additional 15 members of the choir. This is a project and sound of unity and community, and there’s never been a time the world needed that more than now. The album was recorded in a barn because the ultimate dream is for Brave to have its own barn to call home.

LYRICS
We come to behold, with unveiled faces
We believe, we’ll see the glory of our God
There’s a breaking of dawn; an igniting of fire
As we pray, “Jesus come and heal our land.”
Let the church come alive
Chorus
Arise, arise His beautiful one
Arise, arise for the glorious Son
Arise, arise the winter is gone
The time of singing has come!
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa
Oh sleeper awake
To the sound of revival
Generations
Declaring He is Lord of all
Every tribe every tongue
On the earth, as in heaven
We raise our anthem
“Father, let your kingdom come”
Oh the church is alive
Bridge
From the north to the south
Ring out your freedom
To the east to the west
The goodness of God

LYRICS
There is no fear,
'cause I believe
There is no doubt,
'cause I have seen Your faithfulness,
my fortress
Over and over
I have a hope
Found in your name
I have a strength
Found in your grace
Your faithfulness,
my fortress
Over and over
CHORUS
Make way through the waters
Walk me through the fire
Do what You are famous for
What You are famous for
Shut the mouths of lions
Bring dry bones to life and
Do what You are famous for "
What You are famous for
I believe in You
God, I believe in You
Release Your love
Inside of me
Unleash Your power
For all to see
Spirit come
and fall on us
Over and Over
BRIDGE
God of exceedingly,
God of abundantly,
More than we ask or think
Lord, You will never fail
Your name is powerful,
Your words unstoppable,
All things are possible
in You

Exodus 14:14 NIV “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
If there’s ever been a time in our generation where hearts feel battle-worn, it’s now. In so many ways it feels like life as we know it has been upended. And while our instinct may be to rise up and do something, our spirit knows more deeply that God is STILL in control. We know that He fights for us in ways we will never even understand. We know victory is coming, and it’s not dependent on anything we do, but Him alone. So when we are weary, when we’ve run out of strength, run out of answers, run out of songs...we let His presence wash over us again. Wave after wave after wave. As we sang this song live, we could literally feel it, and we hope you do too!

LYRICS
My strength is next to none
I don't even have a song
But You're faithful
My spirit's battle-worn
My heart is bruised and torn
And I need you
You say you'll fight for me
I don't have to do a thing
Just stay still, I'll stay still
I know your victory
Doesn't depend on me
I'll stay still, I'll stay still
Come and wash over me
Come and wash over me
My refuge in the night
My only source of life
You're able
Open the floodgates now
And fill me with your power
I need you, oh how I need you
oh oh oh
You say you'll fight for me
I don't have to do a thing
Just stay still, I'll stay still
I know your victory
Doesn't depend on me
I'll stay still, I'll stay still
Come and wash over me
Come and wash over me
Wave after wave
Wave after wave
Refreshing
Reviving
You come in wave after wave
Wave after wave
Renewing
Restoring
You come in wave after wave
Wave after wave
Refreshing
Reviving
You come in wave after wave
Wave after wave
Renewing
Restoring
Refreshing, reviving, renewing, restoring
Refreshing, reviving, renewing, restoring
You say you'll fight for me
I don't have to do a thing
Just stay still, I'll stay still
I know your victory
Doesn't depend on me
I'll stay still, I'll stay still
Come and wash over me
Come and wash over me
Wash over me
Wash over me
Jesus, wash over me
Come and wash over me

The Night’s Gone (Joy Is Coming)
Our first single off of the SONGS FROM THE BARN project is now available!
“Weeping may endure for a night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning.” - Psalm 30:5 AMP
Feelings can be overwhelming, especially when we go through struggles, and the world around us feels so dark. But it’s in those times we, as believers, still carry hope for what is promised to come. It’s in those times we can sing truth over our own hearts, reminding ourselves that we haven’t seen the end of the story yet. How beautiful then, that this song, THE NIGHT’S GONE (JOY IS COMING), was birthed out of that place, struggling with hope. And as we recorded this song, the joy came!! Knowing each other’s stories, looking into each other’s eyes, we sang this song to the top of our lungs. What started as a hope, ended as a celebration. No one in the room wanted this song to end. Our prayer is that this moment is contagious. If you’re in that place of struggle with hope, sing this truth over your heart….and just wait….you’re story is not over, the joy will come!
LYRICS / QUICK CHART
D C#/F# B- G
You are the morning star
Guiding me through the dark
I’m not alone, You’re here beside me
So, I’m gonna fix my gaze
Not gonna look away
I feel in my soul, the sun is rising
The Night’s Gone
The Night’s Gone
The Night’s Gone
Joy is Coming
You are a constant strength
With every step I take
I’m holding on to what You promised
I’m gonna walk this out
Not gonna trust my doubts
I still believe I’ll see Your goodness
Even when my eyes can’t see it
Even then I still believe it
I know joy is coming
You will wear
The oil of joy
On your head
Like a crown
I feel it rising
I feel it rising
The night subsiding
The joy of the Lord is coming in the morning
The joy of the Lord is coming
